An Organised Pantry

Well after a few days I’m now happy to report that the make-do IKEA shelving i.e. our old pantry has gone!
I am a little bit in love with the new pantry. It is neat, organised and things are easy to find. It has a breakfast shelf area too, all of which will be hidden once we do the final step – the bi-fold doors. We stained the outside pine walls, to add a bit of colour to our pantry.

The empty top shelf is where I plan to put the wine / champagne glasses.

Thanks must go to my hubby and father-in-law, without whom this project would not have gone ahead. Being in second trimester of my pregnancy, my contribution felt very minor but I was able to help select materials, unpack the old IKEA shelves and and organise the new pantry. Stage 2 will be buying a new fridge and microwave.

So…what do we think???
