3. Brisbane’s Flatiron Building Approved
I think it’s sad that Brisbane doesn’t seem to have its own image. We seem to borrow bits and pieces from other cities around the world. The approval of Brisbane’s new Flatiron building this week is no different. The building is meant to be a modern take on New York’s Flatiron building. Why can’t we come up with something original? Let me know what you think. I’m clearly not a fan.

Now I’m sure most Brisbanites have heard of the trampoline centre, Bounce by now but have you heard of Just Jump? If you have kids aged between 3 and 14, they’ll love it. Just Jump is a sporting facility located at Redbank that has two giant trampoline sections, covered with shade cloth, a cafe for parents and an indoor play centre with activities such as jumping castles and a rock climbing wall.
